It is a dual channel amplifier in a single head. It can clearly be ran as two amps or bridged.
MERCH: We will have a central merch tent for your convenience so that you do not have to staff your own merch throughout the fest. The merch tent will be staffed from the time the gates open each day until the headliners finish on the main stage each night. If you would prefer to set up your own separate merch table, please let Lea know so that we can reserve a space and provide a table. We will not have extra tents/canopies, however – so if you need or want one, please bring your own. If you would like to have your merch for sale at the central merch tent, PLEASE read the following carefully and contact Lea with any questions!!!! 1) If you wish, you can send your merch to us in advance. This may be particularly helpful to you if you are flying or are not coming until Saturday, but would like your merch for sale on Friday. Everything must be received by June 23 at the latest. Delivery Address: Lea Alaee, 27 Hummingbird Way, Amelia OH 45229, (513) 293-9332 2) We have 24 bands + shredders we might have merch for, so we need: - bins and boxes to be clearly marked with your band name 3) To reduce the opportunity for theft, sample T-shirts will be hung and a sample CD and other merch will be displayed. All stock will be kept behind the tables. If you can provide a display sample of your CD (package without disc), that would be great – that way, the fans can see what it looks like without being tempted to pocket it and walk away. 4) We are responsible for paying sales tax to the state of Ohio for all sales at the fest. It is preferable from a buyer point-of-view to have the tax included in the total price, and it is easier on us since we don’t have to deal with coins. The tax rate for Ross County, where the fest will be held, is 7%. You may want to consider this when pricing your merchandise.
5) We expect to be able to accept credit cards at the merch table, which will hopefully increase the amount people are able (and willing) to spend, but may impact our cash on hand from merch sales. We will pay you out at the end of each night to the extent that we have cash on hand. If we do not have enough cash on hand at the end of each night to fully pay out from merch sales, we will pay out what we can in cash and send the remainder after the fest. Other than sales tax, we will not retain any % of your sales. Merchant fees charged for the credit card processing will be paid solely by Warriors of Metal and not passed through to the bands. SWAG We will have “goodie bags” for the VIP and Individual Sponsors, plus door prize drawings. If you have any swag you would like to include as give-aways, please send it to us for receipt by June 23 at the above address. We do not need a lot of any one item – a dozen or two should be fine. DOOR GUEST LIST Please email Lea with the names of your guests by June 23, so we can be sure to have them on the door list. We ask that you keep it to no more than 2 people outside the band members. If any of them are taking care of any particular tasks for you that we should be aware of (i.e. photography or videography, gear/stage assist, etc.), please let us know that too so we can make sure they have a badge with appropriate access. If you would like to bring more than 2 people at no charge, the additional people can volunteer to help out for at least one of the two days. We particularly need assistance with directing at the gate & parking lot and with security (requires a phone interview with the head of security and a background check). Lea will need names, emails & phone numbers as soon as possible, and no later than June 18. Volunteers get free admission for both days, non-alcoholic beverages the day they work, and fest t-shirt. They must remain sober while working and be trustworthy and reliable. FOOD & BEVERAGE Our food vendor will be providing free food to bands on the day they play. You will need a ticket for the food, which we will provide when you check-in. There will also be plenty of water and nonalcoholic beverages, plus Budweiser products. If you want to bring anything in particular, you are welcome to do so – just please don’t bring any glass bottles. Everything has to be in plastic or metal. FEST MCs DJ Johnny Walker and DJ Wereman (Aaron Werner) from Metal Messiah Radio will be the official Fest MCs.
TRANSPORT If you are flying in and need a pickup at the Columbus airport, please be sure Lea has your itinerary. We will provide transportation from the airport to your hotel (or fest if you are camping), between thehotel and fest each day, and back to the airport for your departure. If there are any changes to youritinerary once you are on your way, please give Lea a call, text, or email to update her. HOTEL / CAMPING If we have not booked your room for you, please let us know if you are staying in a hotel (and which one) or if you are camping. If you plan to stay in a hotel room instead of camping, but have not yet booked a room, please make your reservation right away. There are rooms available on the group block at America’s Best Value (the lowest-price option), 1135 East Main Street, Chillicothe, OH, but the group rate will end soon. The group rate is $49.50/night single, $53.50/night double + tax. You must call to get the group rate: 740-775-2500. Reference the “Warriors of Metal Fest” group. Alternatively, you can request Lea to make the reservation for you. Camping is free to bands. If you will be camping, you can bring any size tent(s) and there is no limit to # of persons at your campsite(s). It is very primitive camping in a field – no electric, no water hookup – but it is flat, level ground with grass underneath. No glass or weapons allowed. Grills and raised firepits are permitted, but no fires on the ground are allowed. PROMOTIONS / MARKETING We have an advertising campaign on 99.7 The Blitz radio in Columbus OH running during the month of June as well as promotion through Metal Messiah Radio, and other online radio stations. We have Myspace and Facebook pages, and ran a Facebook advertising campaign. Street Teamers and record stores throughout the area have received flyers and posters for distribution, and some have also received promo compilation CDs to heighten awareness of the bands on the fest. The event has been added to area calendars in Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland. We are also working to set up interviews with some of the Metal Messiah Radio (MMR) DJs, other radio DJs and local press. If you are contacted by anyone from MMR or by Melissa (MJ Roxx) Newman requesting interviews, please respond!! We have heard that some requests for interviews from MMR DJs have not been answered, and we want to assure you that these are legitimate requests! Metal Messiah Radio is the official station for this year’s fest and we’re trying to get as many of their DJs involved in promotion as possible. If you have any suggestions for us regarding marketing and promotion, we welcome them!
